Walk up. Open the slot. Drop it in.
That's how fast and easy you'll find the FedEx Express® Drop Box network. Need to ship an envelope? Drop it in. Need to ship a package? That works, too.
When you don't have time to spare, simply bring your shipment to the nearest FedEx Express Drop Box. Our more than 43,000 drop boxes are conveniently placed throughout the nation, in all types of locations:
- Grocery stores and shopping malls
- Office buildings
- FedEx Office locations
- Select U.S. Post OfficeTM locations
Chances are you passed near one today.
Still concerned about time?
With our flexible hours, you can relax. Dropoff deadlines vary depending on location, but thousands of drop boxes offer extended times — some into the evening. Select sites also include Saturday pickup hours.
To find the nearest drop box and get dropoff details, go to FedEx location finder.
When you bring your package to a FedEx Express Drop Box, check the dial on the compartment top. It indicates the scheduled pickup times and whether the day's pickup has occurred. Then when our driver picks up your package, you can track its status online.
Supplies and shipment size
If you don't have the supplies you need, rest easy. Most drop boxes store free FedEx Express® shipping supplies, such as FedEx® envelopes, airbills and document pouches.
Or you can use your own packaging and affix a FedEx shipping label to it. You can either create a label online or complete an airbill manually.
Letters and packages up to 20" x 12" x 6" easily fit into the drop-box compartment slot. Bring shipments larger than this to a staffed FedEx location where they will be picked up and delivered.*
Ways to pay
Paying for your drop-box shipment is easy, too. Just write your FedEx account number on the shipping label.
No FedEx account? No problem! You can enter your major credit card number instead.
