Tissage Moutet started nearly a century ago as a family weaving business in a small town in the south of France. It was one of many weavers in the area known for producing Basque linen, a striped patterned cloth. But in the 1990s, globalization created massive competition and most of the businesses failed. Not Tissage Moutet. This mother-son company survived by embracing the opportunity and modernizing its product line. Now a living heritage, the company ships its colorful linens and home fabrics to customers in France and abroad.
